Game 2 featured just as much firepower from each team as the
Redlegs topped the Slammers in 12-9 comeback victory. Most of
the damage was done in the 5th inning when the Redlegs pushed
7 runs across, 2 driven in by Longacre who had 3 more RBI in
game 2. Brandon Howard launched his first home run of the
post season as he drove in 3 runs in the game. Robinson,
Clark, and Slone drove a run in each also.
Clark started for the Redlegs and benefited from the offensive
explosion in the 5th, as the Redlegs came back to give him the
win before he gave way to Eric Williams. Williams pitched the
final 2 frames, recording 4 strikeouts and 0 hits to pick up
his 1st postseason save.
