Game 2 was a tighter contest. TJ Ray started on the hill for the Redlegs and worked 3 innings keeping them in the game. Brandon Longacre came to pitch in long relief and walked a tightrope to escape trouble in the next 3 but a struggle with control and a timely double from Kyle Neal gave the Bats a walkoff 8-7 win in the last frame. Jake Robinson had 3 hits driving in two and stealing a base and Matt Mattice hammered his 2nd homerun of the season and also collected 3 hits.
