The Bats scored 5 more in the bottom of the 3rd to tie the game back up at 9, and then would take a 10-9 lead after the 4th inning. But the Redlegs would take a commanding lead in the top of the 5th, pushing 10 more runs across to take a 19-9 lead. Howard got things started again, this time reaching on an error.
