The Redlegs then moved over to Beavercreek High School for the 2nd part of their split double header, this time taking on the Kettering Royals. This game had playoff implications as both teams are fighting for a top 5 seed and first round bye.

But a shaky Redlegs defense combined with a Royals club who continued to hit would prove a bad combination for the home team, as the Redlegs committed 8 errors on the way to a disappointing 16-7 loss.
