The Redlegs picked up their 3rd and 4th straight wins with the 2nd double header sweep in as many weeks.

Game 1 saw the Redlegs behind early on, as the Braves put up a 4 spot in the top of the 2nd inning to take a 4-0 lead. The lead was short lived however as the Redlegs sent 13 men to the plate which yielded 9 runs in the home half of the 2nd. Brad Clark started things off with a walk, James Robinson reached on error, and Matt Morrison singled to load the bases. Matt Mattice then walked in a run before Jared Bradley singled the 2nd run of the inning. Later with one out, Jacob Robinson singled in a run and Jackson Millard followed with a 2 run single. Clark drove a run home in his 2nd at bat of the inning and Matt Morrison got his 2nd hit of the inning, this time plating the 9th run of the frame.

The Redlegs tacked 3 more on in the 4th highlighted by an RBI double that almost cleared the right field fence off the bat of Brandon Howard and a 2RBI single by Matt Mattice. The Braves would threaten in the 5th, but Kevin Campbell was able to come on and stop the damage after the Braves only scored 3 runs. Campbell stayed on to pitch the 6th with the score at 13-7 and he made quick work of the Braves as he allowed one hit and struck out 3 batters which was good enough to earn him the victory in relief.

The Redlegs added on some insurance in the 6th and 7th innings. Matt Morrison drove a run home with a sacrifice fly in the 7th before Mattice picked up his 4th RBI of the game on a single.

Jared Bradley made his 2014 debut on the mound to finish things up for the Redlegs in the 7th. Bradley was a little rusty at first, walking 4 of the first 5 batters he faced, but he settled in and was able to get a strikeout and pop fly to end the game.
