The Redlegs came out swinging in game 1 of a double header
with the expansion Dayton Stars on Sunday. They put 20
runs on the board in 3 innings en route to a 20-0 run rule
victory after 3 innings.
Offensively the Redlegs were led by Brandon Howard who
drove in 4 runs on 3 hits. Matt Morrison collected 3 hits
and drove in 3 runs and Jared Bradley added 3 RBI. Brad
Clark blasted his 2nd home run of the season, this one
being a 3 run shot to right field. Aaron Carmack picked up
his 2nd win of the season, this one being a rare complete
game shutout while only pitching 3 innings. He struck out
4 and allowed 2 hits.
