The Redlegs and Slammers squared off in a double header on
Sunday in what turned out to be a slugfest between 2 of the
top 3 teams in the standings.
The Redlegs drew first blood in the top of the 1st inning
of game 1. Jacob Robinson started the game with a single
and later scored on a fielder’s choice groundout off the
bat of Brandon Howard to put Camden up 1-0. It was all
Slammers after that though, as they countered with a 9 run
2nd inning and went on to dominate game 1 in a 16-1 run
rule victory after 5 innings.
