Bats Stay Cold in 9-1 Loss

05/19/2022

The Redlegs fell to 1-6 after a 9-1 loss to the Machine last Sunday. While Camden’s bats did come alive a bit, recording 9 hits throughout the game, it did not reflect on the scoreboard as they managed just one run while leaving 8 men stranded on base.

Camden’s lone run came in the 4th when Jesse Jones walloped his first MVABL career home run, a solo shot that sailed over the fence in left center field. Jacob Robinson and Eric Jameson each had two hits, and Matt Mattice doubled in the loss.
