The Redlegs swept a double header against the Piqua Aliens on
Sunday, winning the first game 15-0 and the second game 12-3.
The wins improve Camden’s overall record to 10-12 and they are
now winners in three of their last four games.
Tyler Schrock paced the offense in game one, going 3-3 with a
double, 3 runs scored, an RBI, and stolen base. Kyle Weldon
picked up two hits and drove in two runs, and Jacob Robinson
went 2-2 with 3 runs and a stolen base. James Robinson and
Eric Jameson also each added a pair of runs batted in.
Rookie Juan Espinosa was impressive in his first appearance
for the Redlegs, tossing the first two innings while recording
four strikeouts. Espinosa paired up with Max Ramsey for the
combined no-hitter, as Ramsey tossed the final two innings to
pick up the win, striking out two and walking one.
